So… it might be ridiculous that I’m dedicating my first post to an obscure Thai drama that isn't even rated that highly on mydramalist but listen to me first!
The synopsis on mydramalist was completely off and I certainly did not expect this drama to turn out as well as it did. And I guess solely because of my low expectations and the pleasant surprise that followed, this drama has become a recent obsession of mine and holds a special place in my heart.

Plot: Bussababan was scammed by her boyfriend into giving him all her family's money to fulfill her dream of becoming a vineyard owner. Dindaen is the second son of Phubha Vineyard's owner in need of a farm manager. In order to earn back money to support her parents, Bussababan applies to become a farm manager at Phubha Vineyard and gets accepted. There, she meets Dindaen who has disguised himself as a regular employee to test her during her probation period.
Let's first talk about the casting and acting of this drama. Since it's a rom-com, the drama takes on a relaxed vibe and I found the casting perfect, especially when talking about our three males protagonists: Din, Phu and Bon. Din is playful with a sad past, Phu is the stereotypical first son who feels a strong sense of responsibility, and Bon is the boyfriend of their sister who is mature and honest. All in all, love!
After years of watching dramas, I’ve become... jaded, if you would, and most of the time I can't take over-the-top characters who I can't relate to at all (common in Thai dramas especially) since my introverted self doesn't socialise enough to meet bad people. This drama has villains, but the main focus is the romance and kindness and the script is amazing - it truly gives off the feeling that the writer is a person with common sense. The female lead doesn't take crap from anybody and the male lead isn't out for revenge like every Thai male lead out there.
Let's be real here: I’m a sucker for supportive family members in dramas, some might even say it's my only criteria to make it to my list of favourite dramas. And it seems to be the case because this drama impressed me so much with their no-nonsense, supportive, loving families that it currently holds second place in said list. I don't know why but supportive families barely exist in dramaworld and it surprises me so much every time drama families act like real families.
That aside, the drama does have its flaws, especially in character buildup. Because I binge through dramas so quick I don't usually realise flaws until I finish and reflect on it. However, LRB has a giant, glaring problem which is, where is everyone's background story? It's probably good that we don't get three episodes worth of the villain's background story with a ton of flashbacks, but I don't even know where 30 hours went with this drama because I don't know anything about the other characters and why they did what they did.
Final verdict: loved this, would probably re-watch if I need unwinding. I think it also makes for a great beginner Thai drama!
